Shopping List
View the weekly circular at www.Shoprite.com. You will need to select 10 different items that you want to add to your shopping list for purchase this week. We will create our list in Microsoft Excel and use the functions to calculate how much we are going to be spending. Please use my template to create your list but please select your own items for purchase. We will then work through the formulas and functions together to calculate the total price in column D. Create a Collage to explain to your new friend Saluda who you are. Where you are from? What are your hobbies and interests?
Search the Internet using Google, Bing or another search engine for pictures of items that would best describe you. Use the insert tab, and insert pictures, clipart, shapes, smart art and word art to place them artistically and creatively on your paper

I suggest you bring all pictures into a “rough draft” document and format them there before bringing them into your collage. This means you will have TWO documents open: rough draft, actual collage. I also suggest you have the class blog open with all of the criteria required for this project.
Feel free to utilize the tools in the Picture Toolbar. Select your picture and the picture toolbar tab will open. Use the Contrast, Brightness, Cropping, Rotating tools.
If you drag pictures to very edge of the page, they will get cut off. Use Print Preview before you print and make any necessary adjustments.
**PLEASE NOTE** You will receive a 0 if you have any inappropriate pictures in your collage.

Everyday I'm Shufflin'
The whole point of the Renaissance assembly is to recognize those students in our school and our community who work hard to make Lakeland the best that it can be.
I know that there is a lot expected of you each and every day and sometimes school simply isn't the most fun place to be (except for intro to computers class of course)....
.....I get it.
You have three years left before you leave the Lakeland halls. Take advantage of this time. Learn something new, have some fun, make memories you'll never forget. We hope you enjoyed our performance and take it as just a small symbol of how much we care about you and really want to make school a place you enjoy.
We work hard because you work hard.
Happy Renaissance!
Happy Renaissance!
Keep up the good work!
